Endelig skal vi på turné til Nord-Troms igjen. Helga 03. - 05. oktober besøker vi Skjervøy Kulturhus, Nordreisa Kirke og Ishavskatedralen. Vi satser også på en matinékonsert i Skibotn søndags formiddag, følg med for oppdateringer på hvor den blir. Med oss på tur har vi et nydelig og variert program som forhåpentligvis kan gi deg litt ro og varme i denne fantastiske årstidens lys!

Når dagene blir kortere og luften skarpere, inviterer Vokal Nord til sin høstkonsert – en musikalsk meditasjon over årstidens stille forvandlinger. Med fallende blader følger en dypere bevissthet om endring, tap og lengsel – og den evige søken etter varme, lys og omsorg. Musikk av Cyrillus Kreek, Toivo Kuula og Johannes Brahms forankrer konserten i romantisk og sakral tradisjon, mens samtidsstemmer som Caroline Shaw og Karin Rehnqvist, med sitt rå og intime uttrykk, skaper rom for refleksjon og nærvær.
Et spesielt høydepunkt på turneen er urframføringen av tre kvenske salmer, nyarrangert for Vokal Nord av Anna Gallon. Salmene henter kraft fra den lokale kulturarven og danner en varsom bro mellom fortid og nåtid. Bli med oss på en reise gjennom skumringen – på leting etter trøst i klangen, og lys i skyggene.

Finally, we’re going on tour to Nord-Troms again. The weekend of October 3–5 we’ll be visiting Skjervøy Kulturhus, Nordreisa Church, and the Arctic Cathedral in Tromsø. We’re also planning a matinée concert in Skibotn on Sunday, stay tuned for updates on the exact venue. We’re bringing along a beautiful and varied program that will hopefully give you a sense of peace and warmth in the magical light of this wonderful season!
As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, Vokal Nord invites you to their Autumn Concert, a musical meditation on the season’s quiet transformations. With the falling leaves comes a deepened awareness of change, loss, and longing—and the eternal search for warmth, light, and divine comfort. Music by Cyrillus Kreek, Toivo Kuula, and Johannes Brahms grounds the concert in romantic and sacred tradition, while contemporary voices like Caroline Shaw and Karin Rehnqvist create with their raw and intimate expression a space for reflection and connection.
A special highlight of the tour is the premiere of three Kven hymns, newly arranged for Vokal Nord by Anna Gallon. These hymns draw from the local cultural heritage and offer a tender bridge between past and present. Join us as we journey through the twilight of the northern year, seeking comfort in sound, and light in the shadows.
